Easy Homemade Hair Masks for Growth and Dry Split Ends

The secret to nourished, gorgeous, long locks that swing past your nipples? I actually have no idea yet. I do know a few ways to get started and one of those is a mask. All of these hair masks can be made at home. Quick and easy.

My hair has been colored a few too many times. Cut and grown, cut and grown….dyed blue for two years and thus has suffered some chemical damage. On top of this, I used a straightener at 450F or a curling iron every single morning for years. I am currently on a No Heat purge. Meaning, for 30 days I have my hair dryer, straightener and curling iron locked away and am forced to sport my natural hair. Ugh. I have also avoided coloring my hair for months in an effort to preserve my poor split ends.

The No Heat purge led me on a quest to help my frizzy, super thick, and naturally wavy hair grow and get back on track to being fabulous. It took a lot of abuse for a long time and now needs some love.

Hair treatments from the store can be great, but cost money and the ones at the salon cost even more. I also am never sure how well they actually help with the growth part. The masks I make now can be whipped up with whatever you have at home and are all natural.
